App Language Support Now Includes All 31 Official European Union Languages; Single-Delete Links Feature Supports New B2B and B2B2C Channels
ATLANTA, Oct. 7, 2026 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — Privacy4Cars, the first and only global data privacy-tech company focused on creating privacy, safety, security, and compliance solutions for the automotive industry, announced two new patents today alongside an update to the Privacy4Cars app featuring the addition of over a dozen more European languages, and new single-use deployment capabilities enabling a broader range of B2B and B2B2C customers in the automotive sector.

Until now, Privacy4Cars catered specifically to high-volume automotive businesses that physically handle vehicles, including auctions, inspection companies, and dealerships, with a subscription model for its state-of-the-art vehicle personal data deletion tool, AutoCleared™ and remote access and account disconnection tool, DisconnectedCar™. Through its newest update, Privacy4Cars’ two most popular tools are now available to business customers across all budgets and business sizes as a single-use DeleteLink option, a new deployment method designed as a service add-on for B2B and B2B2C digital platforms, including vehicle history reports, marketplaces, and dealer management systems (DMS). This deployment method also helps automotive companies, such as insurers, fleet managers, and rental operators provide their customers with detailed, vehicle-specific instructions as opposed to generic reminders to delete personal data from vehicles after use. The single-use DeleteLinks provide the technical, objective, auditable processes needed to dramatically improve deletion results (typically 10-100X) and confirm the data has been removed, protecting both the company and its customers alike.
With the new DeleteLink deployment option, automotive businesses can send their customers a one-time-use link for their specific vehicle at a strategically opportune time, e.g. through an app notification, a text message, or an email. Those users in turn will click on the link, confirm they are in the vehicle, and confidently and quickly delete by following Privacy4Cars’ step-by-step instructions that are specific for the systems installed in that vehicle. Companies can use DeleteLinks in several ways, and in each case the link goes beyond and is far more effective than a simple reminder – especially if buried in the fine lines of a contract. Rental agencies can send drivers a Privacy4Cars DeleteLink when they return a short- or long-term rental, leasing companies can send lessors and dealers one when they ground a vehicle at lease end, and vehicle history report providers and online marketplaces can send sellers and buyers one before they finalize a transaction. Once the user completes the Privacy4Cars process, both they and the commissioning business receive a Certificate of Deletion that documents the result.
In addition to its new deployment capabilities, Privacy4Cars expanded multi-lingual support in its award-winning app to now include 31 European languages, including all 24 official languages of the EU. Since December 2025, seventeen national Data Protection Authorities in Europe have underscored Controllers’ obligation under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) to delete personal data at vehicle handoffs. This latest app release adds eight official EU languages (Croatian, Czech, Greek, Hungarian, Irish, Maltese, Slovak, and Slovenian) along with Albanian, Bosnian, Russian, Serbian, and Ukrainian, so users across Europe can follow Privacy4Cars’ objective, repeatable, and auditable process in their preferred language and meet the standard local data protection regulators have set.
“Our large-scale vehicle audits in Europe demonstrate that Controllers’ current policies, terms and conditions, and well-intentioned but subjective attempts to delete personal data in vehicles consistently fail,” said Andrea Amico, Privacy4Cars CEO. “The new language additions and our DeleteLinks are geared at both helping companies actually comply with GDPR and deliver an unparalleled and effective peace-of-mind experience whenever customers hand off a vehicle to a business. Rather than relying on legal terms that shift responsibility to customers, which European regulators say GDPR doesn’t support, companies can now give their customers a simple way to protect their personal data, backed by the appropriate technical and organizational measures GDPR requires. We want to help companies show their customers real care, with a helpful, well-timed experience tailored to each vehicle.”
The app update comes on the heels of Privacy4Cars’ two newest patent awards:
U.S. Patent No. 12,748,887 extends Privacy4Cars’ existing patents from vehicles to include many classes of internet of things (IoT).
U.S. Patent No. 12,748,888 builds on the same core invention, extending and strengthening Privacy4Cars’ proprietary and multi-patented data deletion methods.

About Privacy4Cars
Privacy4Cars is the first and only global data privacy-tech company focused on creating privacy, safety, security, and compliance solutions for the automotive industry. Its growing portfolio of auto privacy tools benefit companies and consumers, alike, through three powerful services: Disclose, Delete, Disconnect.
Privacy4Cars’ AutoCleared™ is the only patented solution to efficiently manage, execute, and log the deletion of personal information from vehicles(phone numbers, call logs, location history, garage door codes, and more). It is an objective, repeatable, and auditable method that leading auto companies (OEM captives, auto finance, fleets, dealerships, etc.) have used to safeguard over 3 million drivers and passengers by erasing their personal data from vehicles they no longer use. Its Vehicle Privacy Report™ tool is a first-of-its-kind solution for full and transparent data disclosures which has over a million visitors, and its dealer inventory badges generate millions of impressions per month. DisconnectedCar™ is Privacy4Cars’ newest solution that severs digital ties between the connected vehicle and previous users — resetting data sharing settings and disconnecting the vehicle from prior owners’ accounts with the manufacturer, when available.
