SAN DIEGO, CA, UNITED STATES, September 7, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — TrellisWare Technologies, Inc., the global leader in resilient tactical networking, today announced the release of TSP 1.3, the latest software release introducing new capabilities that enhance throughput, interoperability, and the operator experience across TrellisWare® waveform solutions.

The release introduces HDR+, enabling TSM networks to achieve data rates of 50 Mbps without requiring operators to switch to separate high-throughput presets. The enhancement reduces operational complexity while supporting data-intensive applications, including next-generation command and control (NGC2) initiatives.

“Enhancing the user experience with high throughput capabilities and reducing complexity in the field were key objectives for this software release,” said Marcus Urie, vice president of product and program management at TrellisWare. “HDR+ is now enabled as part of standard TSM presets available on TrellisWare radios and several partner platforms within the massive TSM ecosystem of over 225,000 systems.”

TSP 1.3 also introduces the ability to connect a Katana NB network to a TSM network through Multi-Net Bridge (MNB). TrellisWare’s MNB connects separate radio networks, enabling both seamless voice communications between networks as well as sharing of Position Location Information (PLI) between networks. The new functionality improves situational awareness and interoperability across mixed-network operations, while configuration enhancements make these capabilities easier to deploy and manage.

Additionally, TSP 1.3 adds Dual Push-to-Talk (PTT) support for Katana NB, enabling radio users to actively participate in two Katana NB talk groups simultaneously. The enhancement provides compatibility with dual PTT audio solutions and aligns the user experience with existing TSM operations.

Together, these enhancements provide operators with higher throughput, improved interoperability, and a more consistent user experience across TrellisWare waveform solutions.
