Donation supports critical healthcare infrastructure for children receiving treatment for violence-related injuries and trauma in Port-au-Prince.
HOUSTON, TX, UNITED STATES, October 28, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Daelim Belefic has donated a 250 kVA outdoor-rated dry-type transformer to support a Baptist Health Mission children’s hospital in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, that treats children affected by violence and trauma. The donation reflects the company’s commitment to giving back and using its expertise in electrical infrastructure to help make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
The donation came together through a personal connection involving Daelim Belefic U.S. CEO Matt Rice, who was invited by a former colleague, Scott Harrison, now CEO of Best In Class Technology Services, to join a faith-based men’s group. That connection helped bring together organizations committed to supporting a critical healthcare need.
Daelim Belefic collaborated with WTEC, RESA Power and Build Health International to help make the donation possible. The 250 kVA transformer features a NEMA 3R enclosure, making it suitable for outdoor installation.
For a hospital caring for children facing some of life’s most difficult circumstances, dependable electrical infrastructure is an essential part of creating an environment where healthcare professionals can provide care. Through this donation, Daelim Belefic is contributing equipment to support the hospital’s infrastructure and its mission to care for vulnerable children.
“Giving back is something that is deeply important to me personally, to our founder Dong Bin, and to Daelim Belefic as a company,” said Matt Rice, CEO of Daelim Belefic U.S. “We’re fortunate to be in a position where we can use what we do to help others, and this is an opportunity to make a tangible difference for children who need care and support. I’m proud of the organizations that came together to make this possible, and we will continue to look for opportunities to make a positive impact in the world.”
The effort reflects Daelim Belefic’s belief that its responsibility extends beyond manufacturing transformers. While the company works to support the electrical infrastructure that powers businesses, communities and essential services, it also recognizes the importance of contributing to causes that improve lives.
Daelim Belefic is grateful to WTEC, RESA Power and Build Health International for their collaboration in helping bring this donation to fruition. The company looks forward to continuing to support meaningful initiatives and partnerships that create a positive impact in communities around the world.
